A while ago I bought a shop vacuum cleaner that was hardly used but was thrown away. I figured if it broke I'd just throw it out myself, but on inspection a very clever Darwin Prize winner used it to remove metal shavings without putting a filter or bag in. I carefully removed the shavings from each hole and installed a paper motor filter and one of those heavy duty bags and was immediately amazed that nothing but air came out of the shop vacuum's exhaust. I've even cleaned up drywall and putty dust and this bag captures all of these really pretty things. I am impressed.
