The motor has a bad bearing. makes a characteristic noise as it goes through the peak resonant revolutions of the failed bearing as the engine revs up and down. I won't wait until it's completely blocked. I was expecting better quality control. confirmed that nothing was stuck in the hose or making noise when the engine was running with the dust cover removed. the noise comes from the engine. I've been waiting for the motor, installed the motor and now I have to disassemble the vacuum to pull the motor back. costs me more time than the part is worth. pull out the motor, buy a new vacuum cleaner. Otherwise it fits perfectly and looks the same as the OEM retracts.
