Good for small areas
I needed something I could use on the table to get a better view of my circular sock machine while it's being threaded and this is perfect for me because I want to keep it close to the car can to see all my needles The gooseneck is long enough to get where I want to go. I wouldn't use it for reading because you would have to put a light near your work and it would then block your text, but in a small area or in a dark corner it does its job of lighting. Has nothing but a USB cable and does not come with a battery or place to install a battery.
