Review on Logitech Desktop Microphone Black Silver by Willie Carrera

I bought this microphone as a headset replacement with Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11. The first shipment didn't fit so I exchanged it and hoped for the best. The replacement worked much better, so the original delivery was obviously defective. As for the voice recognition results, they're not quite on par with a decent headset, but can be quite comfortable. Constantly putting on and taking off the headset can cause headaches. It seems slower to respond and has slightly less accuracy than a headset, but it's a lot more comfortable. So overall I am very happy with this product and if you use speech recognition and are looking for a headset replacement you will find that this mic works well. Edit: I have compared this mic to several Dynex mics, both desktop and Dynex head models, just for speech recognition purposes. As far as I know, the Dynex microphone element is more effective for speech recognition. this applies to both Dynex headsets and table microphones. There have been some good deals on Dynex mics in the used category and I think this is a very good buy.
