Review on 🐠 NICREW ClassicLED Gen 2 Aquarium Light: Dimmable LED Fish Tank Light with 2-Channel Control, High Output (18-24 Inch, 15 Watts) by Joy Owens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very bright and good value for money. However, there is something missing in the controls.

I was looking for an LED solution for a 70 gallon acrylic fish tank that we recently installed. We built a special stand for our 75 inch 4K TV. I decided to keep the two 24 inch fluorescent lights that came with the tank and install them inside. This 70 gallon tank is 5 feet long which made it expensive to find a single bulb and not the look I wanted for the entertainment system. They blend in perfectly with the fixtures and retain their original appearance. These lights are VERY bright. All the way up is too much for this tank, but it's not bad. The controller is missing. The buttons are very sensitive, the dimmer is essentially several different settings, and having to set two separate lights on this tank wouldn't work for me. My solution was to update the controller. I'm currently using Current USA Ramp Timer Pro to set both lights at once like it's one long block. I had to use a splitter, but they can be found cheaply at Revain. Most of these controllers have a 12-24v range, so upgrading your controller is completely safe. Just make sure you are using the power supply that came with your lamp or a power supply of the same voltage. I'll provide some Revain links on what I'm using with this lamp. So far I am very satisfied and will report any problems. product/B01LH37NF8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
