I was hesitant at first to buy this cleaner because of the low price compared to the more expensive ones but after using this for the first time I have nothing but positve feedback. We have a 55 gallon tank that is deeper then most standard tanks and using a hand scrapper usually involved getting your elbows wet at some point. Our tank was getting scaly behind some hard to reach places and I was concerned this product would never have the resistance to clean it off. Boy was I wrong, it breezes…

This is high quality and works perfect but the magnet is very strong. So, you could pinch your fingers and even crack the glass if you aren't carefully working with it. Just make sure to slowly slide the magnets toward each other from some distance because it pulls very strongly and can catch you off guard. Otherwise perfect.

Very strong and effective. It removes the algae from the glass quickly and easily. However it was a little larger than expected and is noticeable if I leave it on the side glass.

This works great on my 55gal aquarium. SO much better than those tiny things. This one is big and the magnet is very strong. Only improvement I would make would be for the "in-the-tank" part to be slimmer. It tends to bump my decorations and plants while I'm cleaning. Also can't get to the areas behind my pump, etc. but that's to be expected with a tool like this. Overall it works really well, both at removing algae and at staying where I want it while I'm using it (strong magnet).

Definitely easy to use but be careful when putting into tank and joining with the outside piece.super strong magnets on the XL size can cause quite the splash out of the tank. Otherwise probably the best cleaner I’ve used and super easy! Highly recommend!

I saw some guys using this, cleaning the fish tank in my dentist office. I ask them what they were using. They took the time to explain and recommended this product. And I like it. Cleans inside as well as out. Strong, sturdy, easy to use.

Work well for things other than cleaning aquariums as well. Soft covering on one side definitely helps prevent scratching.

Average quality magnet which floats. I used it only once to get rid of moss and observed that scratching surface got slightly damaged only in one use. Also magnet gave small scratches on glass. Later I added plecostomus fish in the tank and he is doing better cleaning of my tank and hence I am no more using this magnet.

It seems like a great idea, but not so great in practice. It's really no easier to use than your standard "razor blade on a stick" type of scraper, and doesn't seem to clear algae off the glass as well. It leaves a lot behind. Seems well built and magnets are very strong. Not worth it, in my opinion. I think it would be best for very tall aquariums where reaching the bottom with a stick scraper would be awkward and difficult.

I bought the XL size, excellent aquarium cleaning magnet for my 55 gallon. I had tough to clean black beard algea and it cleaned it right off with ease. This gem is going to make tank maintenance so much easier. Great product! I will be buying another one for my other tank soon.

This is a fantastic tool for my 30 gallon fish tank. I was emptying and cleaning it about every 2-3 weeks due to build up on the glass. This tank cleaner makes it SO easy to clean the glass on the inside of the tank. It has made that job so much easier and I can go for 4-6 weeks without having to replace the water. Love it!

This thing is awesome and sturdy. I love it an its easy for my kids to use. They love that it floats and I love that the magnet is strong enough to retrieve if it's close to the glass. I don't even have to open the tank to get it.

It's built well and the magnet is strong in my 75 gallon glass aquarium. This thing didn't damage anything but for the price I expected alot more. It leaves a very streaky finish on the inside of the tank where it's dirty. It misses alot of the build-up because of it's velcro scrubbing, so lines that it didn't clean get left and going back over them doesn't do much. A simple rag I use just for my aquarium can clean 100x better guess I'll stick to that method it's worked for 20 years already.

It's the cheapest one, it looks like a good deal. And it is once you get the two sides to sandwich the glass but they need a little coaxing on a 120 gallon tank. I have to guide the inside piece so they will attach. Once attached they're fine. This wouldn't be an issue but there's multiple sides to the tank. Gotta do it each time. Also the thing is pretty big. It's not something you keep in the tank for easy access. I thought the large size would mean better magnet but I was wrong…

It is ok my glass is 3/4 inch thick on my 6000 gallon koi pond. The scraper comes off some times and does not get all the stuff off the glass. If you have thinner glass I bet it works better. Its very large which is good on a glass like mine.

Works ok. Completely looses it's wet side if you try to switch panels, the magnet won't even keep it close in my reef tank.

This Cleaner has a very strong magnet and makes cleaning aquarium glass of algae much much easier. It also floats so if the two parts lose contact it is easy to retrieve. Highly recommend.

This product is great! I have two fish tanks at home (10 gallon and 30gallon). This is great to quickly clear glass on a daily basis. It takes a little more effort to clean your glass if you wait a few days before using this. i would recommend to use this daily! Not great for tough grim build up but works really well with light grim! Seems as if it will last a long time!

The magnet works well and I like how it floats if I drop it. I have to run the cleaner over the edges several times to get it to clean, but it still leaves streaks of algae on the edges. The inside scrubber is more like the hard side of velcro rather than a cloth.
