All of her meals seem to require 2 cups of boiling water. I did exactly that and had to wait 20-30 for all the noodles to soak up the water. It's supposed to be ready in 10 minutes. If you open after 10 minutes you will get a liquid paste. Wait 30 minutes or add less water, maybe a cup and a half. The food was delicious for a camping meal. And don't forget to stir after about 10 minutes, otherwise lumps will form on the bottom. The instructions say nothing about mixing.
