Looks like a professional tool to me. strong and reliable! It is comfortable to use as if it were ergonomic and the clutch mechanism is impeccable. I get perfect flashes reliably and instantly, and I'm new to mini-split setups. I got this because the DIY materials I read suggested a clutch model. As with most or all flaring tools, you need to know how far the copper tubing to be flared will extend past the edge of the serrated conical portion of the retaining clip before tightening in order to obtain the correct size flare that will perfectly fit and cover the nut entire conical surface of the brass fitting of the mating part of the connection to which the copper bushing mates. But that's how they all work. A bit of trial and error trying to figure out how to get the perfect flare size, but it's easy to cut off the flare and do it again! Just a couple of minutes. I think it's a normal bell making learning curve and it's easy. The stainless steel "cone" that actually expands the copper is tilted/off-center but rotates on its axis, which is important to avoid scratching or damaging the expanded portion of the tool with a little Nylog oil or HVAC for that when the cones lose their shiny smooth surface, they reduce the quality of the flare by introducing defects in the flare of the copper.
