I had the same problem as the reviewer who posted the video. The tool's ability to "hold" a loose valve core tightly depends largely on the small "ball" at the end of the valve core. It should "snap" into a small hole in the tool. Not all valve cores are the same. I was able to solve this problem by applying some lubricant to the end of the tool. Used for 2015 Nissan Versa Note and it worked fine. I used the smaller tip for the bottom and connected it to the valve or held it in place with no problem. I would just make sure whatever you screw in is tight to avoid leaks and it worked great. I noticed a small leaf while using water to see if the valve was leaking and it was very small. Both high and low pressure tools do not hold shredder valves in any way and therefore cannot remove or install valves. The tool has a manufacturing defect that causes the gap between the two small lugs (for lack of a better term) at the end of the positioning rod that would normally "grab" the Schrader valve to be too large to accommodate the valve to keep effective.
