Syringe fails to push product into system

Hey god, the title says it all. As you can see from the attached photos, due to the PSI of the system, the syringe is too weak to inject sealant into the system. As you can see in the first photo, the liquid simply pushes through the syringe's rubber seal. And in the second photo you can see that everything was in vain.

The product works! c Air conditioning line repair tools

The freeze leak was difficult to fix with a caulking gun as I didn't know how to depressurize the low pressure side of my heat pump. However, after leak testing my oven's evaporative coils, the leak stopped within 30 minutes. I rate this product 5 stars because I was only able to fix 70% of the freeze leak in my air conditioner and it still worked to stop the leak.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Amazingly, it saved me a fortune.

I was a little skeptical about this sealant working properly in my air conditioner. I queued for about $5000 to replace all the copper tubing from my AC split unit which is outside (100 feet). I let the unit soak the product and completed the refrigerant charge. Almost a month later it's still working amazing, my house is colder when we first install the air conditioner. it runs quieter, heats up less in the blocks and best of all it blows clean cold air.

  • Comfortable

Completely saved my air conditioner which is now working perfectly.

Completely saved my air conditioner which is now working perfectly. My outdoor copper pipes also froze after several thaws. Everything indicated that I had a very, very small leak "somewhere". I charged the system using a youtube video that showed me how to do it 4 months ago and the AC is colder and runs less as it can reach the set temperature quicker. A tip: Use a caulking gun to inject the lubricant. sealing solution.

  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

The syringe doesn't seem to take the pressure

I connected one end to the syringe with no problems. I bled the hose adapter so it was filled with the green liquid. I heard a low hiss as the side of the drain pipe gave way and then stopped. So far so good. The clean side of the connection. The AC is running at full power as stated on the box. Upon squeezing with the caulking gun, the green liquid began to bypass the plunger and fill the back of the syringe. I can't say how much, and I suspect little, if any, entered the AC system.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Worked great! - Air conditioning tools and equipment

Used this on my 30 year old system last year. I was hoping to get out of the air conditioner for another year before replacing it. All summer long the air remained pleasant and cool, no less warm than usual. I bought another set this year to do the same thing as last year. My AC guy came in to add sealant and charge the system but to our surprise nothing was needed! The system wasn't low at all and still blows nice and cold. The AC guy has been using this stuff since we built my system last…

So far so good: Air Conditioning Line Repair Tools

I only gave it 4 stars because it hasn't had time to work in a full year to notice a change. But for now it works. We used it in late March and our A/C guy came in to add Freon (took about a pound). But for now we didn't have to add anything as he arrived in March and it is now October 27th. He seems to have been working all summer here in the south where the temperature is 90-105 degrees and the humidity is high. a year earlier we had to add freon twice, once at the end of summer and the…

I'm not holding my breath, but we'll see.

Possible leak of unknown size in the heat pump in the remodeled house we bought. After ripping off for more R410a I decided to give this an extra try. I will post an update in the future. I thought it would be good for DIYers to know here, make sure you are using the low pressure port on your machine to inject material and the machine must be AC powered to ensure the port is low pressure. or at least mine did. When it is in heating mode, it is a high pressure port. The instructions suck and the

THAT DOES NOT WORK! in Air Conditioning Tools & Equipment

Save money and get it fixed right. My leak from fully charged with freon to low enough not to cool down was about 3 weeks. If your leak is only 1-2 pounds over a long period of time this might work, but I have my doubts. I bought a sniffer to find the leak. A leak was found in 1 of 8 capillary tubes. The leak was very small, like a spike. This stuff just seeped through the pinhole and made a mess everywhere. I ended up cutting off the capillary tube, clipped it and soldered it to terminal 8…
