I'm writing this review after I bought this product again. It was recommended by the manufacturer of my high quality rug and I have used it before but never in a serious situation like this that I have just encountered. I pulled on a pair of rubber or latex soled sandals that I hadn't worn in years. After just a few steps, I saw that I had left almost black stains on the carpet. While I already had a high opinion of Capture, I was certain the cloak needed replacing. I applied both products as directed and the marks are lighter but still visible. I reapplied it and all the pots were gone except for one area where it was the worst. I reapplied it and the stains were gone in some places but still visible in others. I reapplied the product and had to argue with myself if I was seeing anything just because I knew what the problem was. I applied for it again, and after that there were no disputes. Without bleaching I'm completely gone. I also like that there is no smell. It's a lifesaver!
