They are strong, reliable
I am a high school chemistry teacher and have been using them in my lab for 10 years. They're just starting to wear out and I'm replacing them with exactly the same ones. The only downside is that you need a separate 100g calibration weight, otherwise they are solid, reliable, easy to calibrate and accurate. They have lasted much longer than expensive scales bought from specialty stores. Other teachers laughed at me when I bought them and now they buy them for their classes (yes we spend our own money to buy them 1 or 2 at a time because the equipment that works is worth it ).
