We scale the lines on service sketches to determine the footage due. These tools are incredibly handy. Regular scales work great, but they really speed up the process and are VERY accurate when used properly.

Scale Master Pro feels good in the hand. The only thing I have is that it doesn't light up as shown in all the pictures. I think this is false advertising. Sorry I'm too busy and need this. Otherwise I would return it.

It works like a dream to make the architect's plans come true. We use it for bidding and then again when ordering supplies to test the first launch. It's smooth and doesn't bounce when you're moving fast like some others we've used in the past. Great thank you!

I don't really need it, but I'm a draftsman and I love gadgets! This tool works as advertised. The click moves on its own every now and then. But who cares? Just deduct a click! I have a Construction Master IV calculator that I bought in the 90's and I still use it every day. Calculated Industries is on my list of trusted companies.

The scales did not turn on after the second use. Bought new and boxed with VERY MINIMAL use. Went to work the 2nd time and wouldn't turn on. Left work to buy new batteries and it still didn't work. The product is obviously defective and the company does not accept returns based on a purchase made 3 months ago. Now I'm dealing with a factory warranty on a brand new product.

Easy to use compared to others. The instructions were a bit difficult to follow due to the number of things this can do. The wheel moves easily and very precisely. Not sure if it says so in the description or not, but it comes with a cool, decently durable case. I will be returning the neoprene sleeve as I don't need it. Unless you're going to put it in your tool bag, I don't see the need for a neoprene pouch.

I am a building estimator and have used this product for many years. I use it almost every day so I don't think I have anything to complain about. Nothing is forever. I've resigned myself to having to buy a new one every year. I contacted the manufacturer a couple of times to explain an issue I was having with the tool. I only bought this for the reason that I get a lot of out of scale drawings. Customers can fax, resize and email drawings or copy onto smaller paper. Programming custom scales (3 available) consists of simply rolling the Scale Master over two points of known size, e.g. B. a 3 foot or 8 foot doorway. Upper limit, enter a value and fix it.
