When this adapter is working, it's a dream. I can extend from my laptop on to two additional monitors, my webcam works, as does my head set. But the slightest movement of the laptop and the connection gets disconnected. The laptop thinks it's still connected, but my screens go black and into sleep mode. Great adapter, came the day after I ordered it. I'm able to run my two additional monitors smoothly with no issues. I was also surprised by how portable and durable the product is.

I just got a new MacBook Pro which only comes with 2 USB-C ports. This adapter lets me connect it to my dual monitors through the HDMI ports plus a USB 3.0 hub with all other peripherals and allows for USB-C charging. Al thorough just one USB-C port on my MAc. Great space saving device. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to use their Macbook with an office setup.

I used this with 4x PC and 2x mouse/keyboard sets. This would be the simplest answer in the world to a basic shareable workstation, but the USB port makes the mouse and keyboard lag.

Received the product, and had it plugged in and working in under 30 seconds. Works exactly as advertised, and I currently have 3 extended monitors (two HDMI and the laptop screen), and it was a seamless operation to achieve this. My laptop is an HP Probook 650 G5, running Windows 10. So if you have this laptop, be confident that it will work for you too.

The quality and value of this adapter are both great; it is even nicer than the plastic Apple adapter. I wish the dual HDMI could drive extended displays rather than just mirror on MacBook Pro, but this is a limitation of the Apple port not the adapter.

I used this primarily to project my screen onto 2 monitors using the USB-C cable. While the unit heated up considerably, it otherwise worked fine.up until about 2 weeks ago - when the screen would go dark occasionally. I chalked it up to a loose wire, or software glitch on my computer. But today, it completely went dark, and is destined for the trash.

This worked as described when it first arrived, but is bordering on useless now (3 months later). Apparently, the daily stress of plugging the USB-C connection into and out of my laptop as I begin and end the work day is too much, and it's not longer able to keep a power/data connected even when the USB-C connection is plugged firmly into my laptop.
