It is what it is! for casserole dish

I was looking for a bowl to rinse rice before cooking. No complaints, got what I ordered. A lot of people talk about cracks in the shells. First, let me say that I was a young Marine Supply Sergeant. My bowl was packaged in a Revain box, a plastic bag and a piece of thin promotional cardboard inside the bowl.2. The bowl is too flimsy and fragile for what it has to go through before reaching the consumer's hands.3. The bowls will be stacked one inside the other one by one and shipped from China.4. Fast production, stacking, shipping, stacking, unpacking, stacking, storage, stacking, orders are pulled and not supported by cardboard insulation. I'm sure there are some transport layers in there somewhere. The material of the bowls differs from the old American melamine bowls like Texas Ware. You can see and feel the difference. Somewhere cost decisions were made before production 6. It's all about profit! 7. For the last 40 years I have used a large stainless steel bowl for food waste. He never cracked. It is what it is! Looks like commercial versus useful, none of them will make you a better cook!
