Driver: There was a sticker on the box with the device, which is compatible with Win8. However, there was no driver for this OS on the disk. I downloaded from the manufacturer's website, everything got up without problems. Bundled software: in principle, I liked the kit from CyberLink. Perhaps I have not seen anything better, but for amateur tasks it is enough. Now the piece of iron itself: everything would be fine, but two points disappointed. Firstly, I didn't want to work with Aimersoft Video Editor. The program always reports that the device is busy. Perhaps this is a program problem, not a piece of iron. Secondly, and this is much more serious, when digitizing dynamic scenes (for example, fast panoramic wiring or shooting on the move), synchronization fails, frames begin to flicker. You have to either put up with it, or cut out such scenes. Definitely, this is a lack of hardware, not software, because it manifests itself when using any programs and regardless of the input: both on S-video and on composite.
