I bought a set of these (last year for my son as pajama bottoms. And this year I bought another set in different colors. They hold up well to washing and drying. Even drying them in the sun they stay soft, soon after I (Yes, the sun hardens everything, but it rebounds slightly.) Colors remain beautiful. My son is disabled, so for hygiene reasons I often have to soak and wash his clothes in hot water. It doesn't disappoint, her These are cotton, come out clean and smell like new. My son is about 5ft 10" and weighs about 150lbs. He usually wears a size 31 or 32 (depending on the brand) pant which they are small in size and they are roomy perfect for him, don't dangle or pull I would say they fit true to size medium would probably be too loose they don't ride down or reach closer to the knee but not knee high or mid thigh. Good for sleeping or lounging. Probably buy it again.
