I was pleasantly surprised by this piece of furniture for several reasons. Part of me expected assembly to be too difficult due to poor instructions or loose/uneven connections between parts. Instead, I found that installation and assembly went very smoothly and faster than expected, and all the parts fit together nicely. I did feel that the angle to the shelf was a bit off due to the pre-drilled hole in the shelf, but that wasn't a problem and I simply adjusted the angle with my screwdriver and used a little extra force to ensure a good angle. The instructions were clear enough and over the top in terms of both time and tools. Assembly took an hour but I was done in less than 30 minutes. It lists the necessary tools, including a flathead screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, and a hammer. All I needed was a Phillips head screwdriver (along with the included hex wrench). Perhaps other tools would have been useful if manufacturing flaws meant that extra strength or support was needed, but I didn't need them. The finished product was much sturdier and more durable than I expected. The legs are the perfect size to make a flat shelf that won't wobble or wobble. The wood material seems strong enough to last a long time. Weight tolerances of 26 pounds for the table and 11 pounds for the shelf seem more than reasonable, especially given the product's small size. The drawer slides smoothly along the rail and has enough space for our use. Overall this table looks great, the size is perfect for where we will be putting it, it is sturdy and durable and would make a great addition to our home.*** **5 stars out of 5
