I took everything from the packaging to verify that all were present. I got out my own tools (it comes with the tools needed, I just prefer my own). I then laid out the pieces where they should be in the finished frame, corresponding screws, bolts and parts.The instructions are very well written and easy to follow. When I saw this I fell in love! And I still do like it, but. It was a pain to put together. The head board is short-you put pillows on the bed and you can’t see the head board. One of the knobs didn’t fit well either, it’s just sitting there. Had known about these I may have passed it up. I’ll be selling in yard sale as it will cost me to pack up and nail back

I wasn't sure about this bed when I saw all the pieces but it has well written instructions and each piece is labeled. When putting headboard and footboard assembled first, do not completely tighten. Just assemble the bed as instructed and go back and start tightening everything. There is a video so please watch it. Overall it's a nice sturdy frame and a great value for your money.

I ordered this frame for our guest room, as I love the black metal "farmhouse” type style. It came in a compact box with clear instructions and the process of putting it together was easy and straightforward. There is no box spring needed with this bed which is another reason for the purchase. It’s addition has made the guest room my favorite room in the house, definitely recommend!

It was certainly a bag for my buck for the sturdiness of the frame. Wish the headboard was slightly taller, cannot really appreciate the headboard if you have more than one set of pillows. I have a 12 inch mattress, so with the bedding you cannot really see much of the headboard. Space below is plenty if one needed it for extra storage.

when this bed was delivered, I was super skeptical that this would be sturdy enough to hold me! I bribed my boyfriend into helping me put it together, and it was relatively easy -- all the pieces are included and you only need that little wrench thingy to tighten all the bolts . just follow the instructions carefully and you should be good -- took use about 2.5 hours total . I am not a small person and neither is my boyfriend, but it holds us very comfortably -- I LOVE the bed and haven't slept

It looks great and not heavy but sturdy. Arrived in good condition and held on very well with kids jumping on it. Tool a little over an hour to put together.The assembly tools and the design is very poor though. Could make it much more simpler to put together. Too many nuts, instructions could be reordered, tools included are cheap and makes assembly harder. Bring your own toolset to make this easier.

Bought two for my daughter’s room. Looks super cute. Only took about 15 mins to put together. For reference both my girls love them. One is age 11 and the other is almost 2. Definitely didn’t expect such great quality for the price.Also love that the bed is still easy for my youngest to get in and out on her own. And we are still able to store lots of legs bins under the bed.

I just put this bed together today. It took me three hours by myself. The reason for only 4 stars is that this would have been so much harder to put together without a cordless drill with the proper hex bit and a socket wrench. The other reason is that the pieces did not perfectly fit together. I ordered 2 of these beds! They are great! Super easy instructions and easy to assemble. Only knocked 1 star from sturdiness because the bars that go across for the mattress to sit on aren’t secured into place other than a notch and come out of the girls hide under the bed. Super easy to slip back into place though!

This bed is very cheap but I expected that for the money. My main issue is how light it is. I have a queen nectar memory foam mattress on it and when you go to get in bed, the bed frame literally slides across the floor. Beware if you have hardwood/tile floors.
