Review on Saucony Men's Switchback Walking Shoes in Classic Black: Maximum Comfort and Durability by Duy Desperado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

great minimalist trail running shoe

Technically, this is my first product review. I find reviews very helpful, especially with purchases like this. This shoe is like a sports car on the track. I love that I feel the ground with every step and I don't stumble like other running shoes with more support. The grip is also great for the slick trails I run on. I also cross the riverbed and although I can clearly feel the rocks, they don't bother me. I should also mention that I have pretty strong ankles so I don't need extra support. They are so light that I tend to run a little faster than regular trail running shoes with more support. Even with a minimalist build they seem to have adequate support but I typically use them for short runs (3-5 miles) and am curious to see how they hold up after a longer run. I have slightly wider feet and my toes feel a little tighter (less room in the toe box than traditional trail running and running shoes), but that doesn't seem to be an issue. The boa constrictor keeps everything in one convenient, cozy place. Very interesting, fast, nimble trail shoe.

  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
