great switch for my opinion

I installed this on my boat and I have had a few friends get this switch and install them on there boats so its a good switch and its a good way to keep your devices from draining your battery

Pros
  • Great quantity does the work that is supposed to do
Cons
  • The switch may create a safety risk in emergency situations, as the driver may not be able to start the vehicle quickly enough

great looking switch but look closely if you need to use it for high amp rating

Good looking switch but the terminal size required to fit on the screws is way to small for anything close to being 50A rated. Fortunately, I am only using it for 30A max.

Didn't last - my new review

Lasted a year, then it would not stay on. When you turn it on you see it connect for a split second and then it disconnects when it comes to full on. Had to disconnect it completely for now as something isn't right inside and will replace with another brand.

Ratings aren't just exaggerated, they are downright dangerous!

I'm a retired electrical engineer, but you don't need to be an engineer to look up ampacity charts.I have no idea what this company it trying to pull, but there is NO WAY 6-AWG cable is going to carry 300A safely.At 60C/140F, here are the general safe current capabilities of the gauges they are selling here. The claimed value in the description is in square brackets:6-AWG: 60A [300A]8-AWG: 40A [100A]10-AWG: 30A [50A]Don't just take my word for it, look up "copper ampacity." I see so much unsafe

a bit pricey, but it works great, and when my portable power pack is not in use, or say in the back of my truck I can remove the knob to ensure that it will not be accidentally turned on, or left on.

Good little switch - my new review

Works well, and quality seems good enough. I didn’t understand that "out” meant the knob comes off. Seems like a good feature if you need it, but I don’t and would’ve ordered a different one. It has held up well and does what it says.

Jtron 50A and Jtron 100A battery switch.There are various locations in my RV at which I needed a method to switch the 12 volt DC power off & on and these switches were perfect for the job.
