Although these key fobs/plugs are non OEM (there is no Honda logo on the back) they fit me when I got them from my local Honda dealer, to have them programmed on the immobilizer chip. The key fobs even had working batteries. I have a 2009 Civic Hybrid with 1 key and need a spare key. I got this set of two for $30 because the machine can be programmed with up to three remotes. Don't worry about YouTube videos to do it yourself because you really need a scanner to program the immobilizer chip to start the car. The videos only show how to program the key fob to lock/unlock the doors, which doesn't work on my 2009 hybrid anyway. First you need to cut the blanks to fit your working key. My Honda dealer wouldn't do this part because he said the steel on these aftermarket blanks is tougher and breaks often. My local locksmith cut the blanks for $75. I checked each one on the doorknob to make sure they lock/unlock the door. Second, take the keys to your Honda dealer and they will program them for you at the current working price. Mine cost a total of €60. So my total cost for 2 new working key fobs for my car was $165 plus about 2 hours between locksmith and dealer and waiting time.
