I wanted something smaller than a regular daypack as I don't have to carry around as many things as I used to since I switched to an insulin pump and this is just perfect! I can put my keys, wallet, mask, sensor reader, glucagon, epi pen and glucose powder/pills in here and leave enough space. I was able to fit all of that and a pair of men's pants I bought at the store into a fairly large bag. The pants definitely filled the remaining space, but the backpack felt solid and I wasn't worried about breaking anything due to the weight. It sits comfortably on my back and I feel like it's well made. I haven't had any issues with Lightning yet, but I'll report back if anything goes wrong.
