Having worked for a high-end flashlight manufacturer for a number of years, I am very aware of lumen outputs and runtimes.I purchased the Starlight 700 to be used specifically as an emergency light for power outages, I am impressed with the sturdiness, versatility of use and compact size of the light and most pleased with the variable lumen output and runtimes.Fortunately, I have not had to use it - yet!
