I'm ashamed to admit that we haven't changed filters on the Dyson DC17 for 10 years! We took it apart to clean it but had no problems with it. (So we thought) Because it's been so long, my husband thought there's only one filter we can lift. But since we got two in this package. I remembered that the vacuum cleaner had 2. He went on YouTube and figured out where the other filter goes. You have to remove a screw to figure out where one of them goes. One thing is clear, where the journey is going. The place where I bought this vacuum cleaner is no longer in business. I remember that changing the filter is very expensive. When I found these filters for the price I knew it was better to try them. Now it feels like we got a new vacuum cleaner and we didn't even know how much we needed it! I also thought I was careful not to order the wrong filters, but I did. It was a hassle free return. I bought the right one as soon as I realized what happened. I even got an email from the sellers asking if there was anything they could do to help since I returned the first ones. We will continue to buy these filters on the manufacturer's recommendation and only from these sellers. I just want to thank the sellers.
