They seem to work best when cutting burrs

The product comes in a small plastic sleeve with burrs in separate grooves. I used one to grind off the head of a stripped screw. I took off a small amount of metal but the diamond coating quickly wore off. So I would say they are best for sculpting very small objects, which is what you would normally do with a Dremel tool, but no more. After all, they are so cheap that you can throw away the burr after one use and use it "fresh” the next time.
