Worth every penny: my feedback

Did you ever buy a tool for one particular one-time task? I did in this case, since no one knew where I could find what I needed. So,. I wanted to put a valve extension on my outside dually (the valve points inward) to facilitate the installation of a TPMS, but the available 360 extensions wouldn't fit with my alloy rims. The guy at Les Schwab said some people just bend them, so, ebay + 1 day = tubing bender, and: a perfect fit worth every penny it cost!

Pros
  • So much better than using your hands, leg for a radius guide, vise that kinks the line every time !!
Cons
  • May not work well with harder aluminum materials

Not for steel good for me

This lists stainless in the description, but it didn't really work with my 1/2mm thick wall stainless tube. I wouldn't recommend for use with stainless steel tube unless it has a very this wall.

Pros
  • As excited
Cons
  • May take time to master the bending technique

Good little bender on my review.

I have used other higher quality more versatile benders before. But I'm pretty impressed with how this performs. Happy with purchase.

Pros
  • Excelente
Cons
  • May not be able to handle all thicknesses of tubing

Worked great in 5/16 NiCopp

Worked flawlessly for me. Thanks for attention. I'm a novice at this. 2 ten foot hard fuel lines.many bends, no problem.

Pros
  • Works as expected, saving time and energy.
Cons
  • May not work well with other materials besides copper, aluminum, and stainless steel

Good benders best in my review

I used these mainly for bending 3/8 soft copper and these are the bee's knees! They bend it to whatever angle is needed. The handles are skinny so keeping it steady when to take it all the way to 180 gets a little tricky but it definitely still does the trick!

Pros
  • Great tool
Cons
  • May be difficult to clean after use

Worked great for 3/16 " NiCopp brake line

It doesn't say that it works with 3/16", but it definitely does. May not be able to handle tight radius bends! I used it when replacing all the brake lines on my jeep.

Pros
  • Did the job
Cons
  • May not be able to handle tight radius bends

Broke on first use on my review.

Used on 3/8" thin walled stainless steel. Broke on the first bend. Did not like the quality of the product. Not a good value for the money.

Pros
  • Parece útil y traje bien
Cons
  • May cause kinks if not used correctly

Nice basic bender - my new review

Flattens the tube a little and you need to be slow and steady to avoid distorting the tube but worked great for me for 3/8 acr copper.

Pros
  • Good unit, however, the handles were shorter than I envision from the pictures.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with other bending jigs or accessories

NOT FOR INSTRUMENTATION!

I am staring to bend tubing for instrumentation. They didnt work. This is only for AC tubing, like cooper May be too heavy for some users to maneuver!

Pros
  • Great tool no problems.
Cons
  • May be too heavy for some users to maneuver

What a Steel in my review

On the box it states "Made out of steel". It's made out of poor-quality Cast Aluminum, which broke the second time bending 5/16' copper tubing! The only steel part is the Pivot plate and pin. The easily read Markings came barely visible due to factory finishing.

Pros
  • The Wostore tubing bender's 180 degree capability makes it easy to complete a wide range of bends quickly and efficiently
Cons
  • May not offer enough leverage for larger diameter tubing

Worked like o charm on 3/8 OD stainless

Wasn't sure what to expect for the price. Used it to bend a couple of stainless steel (3/8 OD) lines on my bew condenser unit. I'm surprised at how easy it actually was to operate. I'm copper would be even easier. Great buy!

Pros
  • I was putting in some mini-splits and needed some thing small and light weight to bend the tubing.
Cons
  • Good for hobby use. Degree markings are off a bit and the joint is a bit sloppy but I made it work.

Great Tool! best in my review

If you don't have one you need one. Amazing tool! Why I didn't have one 20 years ago is beyond me! So simple, such perfect clean bends! Amazing!

Pros
  • Excellent
Cons
  • The product may not fit in all toolboxes or storage spaces

Handle brittle failure broke while bending 0.035" 3/8 SS tube. Worked fine for 1/4" SS tube. In the world of SS tubing 0.035" wall is considered the "thinner" wall with 0.065" wall being thicker wall "standard" tubing. For $15 I knew I was buying a throw away tool but I was hoping it would have been a little tougher.

Pros
  • is to hresavy
Cons
  • May be difficult to disassemble for cleaning

good quality - my new review

I bought this to construct an antenna. This eliminated the 8 90 degree fittings needed (@$4.20 each). I more than recovered the cost, plus I still have the bender for other projects.

Pros
  • great tool just make sure you use a lubricant on the tube
Cons
  • The blue coloring may fade over time

Seemed to balk at 3/8 " copper

This tool did fine on 5/16" brake lines, but started to flex out of shape when trying to bend 3/8" copper. I annealed the tubing for another attempt, but gave up. I will save this tool for smaller tubing.

Pros
  • Worked great for brake lines
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for heavy duty tasks

Revainrating 3 out of 5

If you can't easily bend the material by hand don't use this.

Definitely not for anything stiffer than thin aluminum or copper. If you can't bend the pipe by hand this tool will break. Broke trying to bend new fuel lines to fit car. Don't try with steel.

Pros
  • Simple and well made
Cons
  • Limited warranty may not offer enough protection

Good tubing bender - my new review

Used to bend aluminum tubing with good results. Not for high volume production work, but for occasional use it fits the bill perfectly

Pros
  • Very good tool for bending brake line and a modest cost
Cons
  • May need a higher level of maintenance to keep in good condition

did the job best in my review

Had a project that required more than a 90 deg. bend . The Wostore 180 worked like a champ. remember using one when I was teaching auto shop but since I retired I haven't needed a bender until now. Very happy

Pros
  • Much easier and produces more professional looking results than trying to make your bends by hand
Cons
  • Can’t use in tight places on the car, too big

Got the job done: my feedback

Despite it being cheaply made, along with being difficult to work with, I was able to bend the tubing. The tool definitely requires some time to get use to.I used it to form 5/16” steel fuel line with quite a few bends and offsets.

Pros
  • Perfect for what I needed it for
Cons
  • May not have a smooth bend radius

Good Price Feels Very “Cheap”

Was skeptical of buying because I was bending 1/4” & 3/16” steel lines. The item is very lightweight which it’s because it’s cheap steel aluminum material reason for Cost.I gripped it to my vice and bent a few.Paint quickly peeled off but it did a DECENT job.I’ll see how much it hold off.I recommend the item as long you put it on a vice!

Pros
  • It was worth the money. Just works as I expected.
Cons
  • May require additional kit for certain angles and radius
