Great EVSE for the Chevy Bolt!

I bought this for my 2018 Chevy Bolt EV. I've used it for several thousand miles now and drive 150 miles a day, so having a good, reliable EVSE was very important to me. I admittedly bought this because it was the cheapest I could find, the 32A. As advertised it's not a smart charger and it doesn't have WiFi or a peak charge timer but my Bolt can control everything so it's not needed. The only thing I complain about is the charging plug, which is very tight in the socket. my bolt. Others have noticed this issue: it takes a bit more shelling compared to other EVSEs, but it tends to loosen up over time. It didn't harm my car in any way, I just know the more expensive brands aren't as tight. Otherwise, I like the portability. Tip before you buy: They recommend a 50A breaker, but you can safely use a 40A circuit, no less. In addition, this model should not be used in adverse outdoor conditions. The average outlet on your dryer is only 30 amps, so don't plug it into an outlet until you know how many amps it's rated for. All in all, with carrying case, plug hanger and charging cable hanger, it really is a great device! UPDATE: My original Mustart charger died after a year and 40,000 miles of charging. I was very upset, but Mustart sent me a replacement and supported the product quickly and easily. I was very impressed and the new model has a completely different charging handle that is much better designed than the old one I had. For these reasons I upgraded it to 5 stars!
