Really nice dark grey/blue colour. Good quality but not durable. Personally I wouldn't use it for washing due to the material, I don't want it to get wet or wet and then take on a musty smell. We have this in our kids room for decorative storage, we rolled all of her blankets and flimsy throws in there. We have about 10 that fit in there and there is room for more blankets or larger blankets. It looks well built and is made of quality material so I'm not worried about its durability but it's not strong enough to stand up when empty. The pages seem to collapse by themselves. All in all we love it, it's beautiful and serves its purpose in our home.
