Review on πŸ“» Adventure Flashlight with Talkies Channels and Backlit Feature by Charles Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Noisy but the noises can be turned off which makes them great.

The radios arrived in a rather small box with a plastic bag and instructions for use. Each radio requires 4 AAA batteries, which are inserted by sliding the back cover open. I've learned that if the lid doesn't slide back easily, the battery needs to be pushed harder. I originally gave them to my 5 year old son as a blueprint for our hikes, but he loved them so much he ran around the house with one and gave the other to dad and me (the word "more" was used A LOT) . . The buttons were easy to press and the size was kid-friendly (actually, all he had to do was press the side button / or could activate speakerphone without buttons). I was going insane because the sounds were so loud every time I pressed a key - I pulled out the manual and found that when I press a key or send a message the beep can be turned off (it only beeps when when the button is pressed). is pressed when the lock is activated) GAME CHANGE! That's what made these walkie-talkies great in my book. We've only used them for less than half a mile so can't comment on distance, but they're pretty crisp and don't give feedback when close (kid loves using them even when they are right next to me). They also have a small flashlight upstairs. It's not very light when it's light, but we found a historic tunnel that was closed and went in to have a look." I used my flashlight and my kid used that light - it was bright enough. I will also upload videos with them Kiddo loves them.
