Review on ๐Ÿ‘ข Seirus 4150 Cat Tracks Boot Sole Protectors- Enhanced Comfort & Traction, Black (Small) by Cassie Moore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very important. Extends the life of my ski boots.

Was told to get them after the shoe shop noticed that the heel of my ski boots was worn out. According to other reviewers and instructions, you should leave them in hot water and then pull them over your boots. It won't work if you try to just slip them over your boots without first warming them up in hot water. If you don't wear them for a while after the initial stretch, they will be difficult to put back on. Haven't tried them in cold weather yet but I suspect they'll be very difficult to put on after a day of riding in the bag. I also did what other reviewers said and melted holes (with a candle and a nail with pliers) in the heel and zip-tieed through them to create a grip. Haven't tried them in the snow yet, but so far this is exactly what I've been looking for. My boot size is 7.5 and I received the small size. Update: I took these puppies on skis and am very happy. Walking on ice and snow is a lot less scary with them because I don't feel like I'm slipping at all. Excellent grip and traction. They are a bit stiff to fit in my pockets. This is my complaint about women's ski gear in general (small pockets). Putting them in pockets isn't that difficult with men's ski gear, which usually has nice big pockets. Based on other reviews, I put them in the pockets of my midlayer jacket (which I wear under my waterproof jacket) and left them there all day to keep them close to my body and stay warm. When I did, I had no trouble putting them on at the end of a day's skiing before heading back to the car. I've found that it's actually easier to put heel first than toe first. I keep my boots with cat tracks. They will probably gift me at least 30 extra days of skiing in my very expensive ski boots.

Pros
  • PREVENTS TROUBLESHOOTING - Caused by wear and abrasion on the soles of the boots
Cons
  • Communication with seller
