Enhanced Edelmann 80290 Power 🔧 Steering Pressure Hose for Optimal Performance Review

Fits my 82ft Cutlass with EPS pump. One end is bigger than the other. I used the big end for the gear connector and the small end for the pump.

Excellent value for money. I will say that the bottom of the hose needed to be at a slightly better angle to start it, but other than that everything went quickly and easily. Will be updated if it fails.

Adjusted with some exploits near the power steering gear. First I installed the bottom line (to the power steering box) but the return hose was a bit in the way. Remove the airbox for more access.

Fits perfectly on my 2001 Jeep XJ. Note that you will need a 16mm* and 18mm* wrench to insert this and the standard wrench. Also, work slowly as you tighten, if it doesn't go very smoothly then you are probably over-tightening the connections.

Bought but a bit skeptical as it seemed like too good a deal. I thought it might not be very well done, but it IS. It fits perfectly. It is very well made and only took 15 minutes to install on my Jeep Cherokee XJ. I am very impressed and highly recommend this part.

Had to replace both metal lines, low pressure return line (not this hose) and also this hose. The metal wire intersects with the metal return wire on the steering box. Threads do not match. A slight change on both lines allows the threads to align. Works perfectly. No leaks. If this fails permanently I will update. 4 stars because it needed to be redone.

When I went to install the hose it wasn't the same as the original. It didn't fit at all. The cost is about 1 hour. I had to reuse the old hose that came from the factory. It's wearable! Due to health reasons, the installation took longer than expected and over 30 days, and returns are not possible. I hate the new 30 day return policy.

Arrived quickly and intact and at a great price! I gave one star for easy install as it wasn't easy install. The engineer who created the original design should be drawn and quartered, but only after being forced to make a thousand changes to his design! The absolutely abysmal placement of the hose end doesn't change the fact that the new part is identical but leak-free. ! I definitely recommend both the seller and the parts.
