Our Son loved this as a child and played for it for years both inside and outside when he was older. As other reviewers have mentioned the rim is very sturdy, but the backboard is very flexible and acts like a drum when the ball hits it. I'm keeping it becasue the price is decent for what you get and I think I can reinforce the backboard with some plywood. this will kill the over-the-door mounting possibility, but I'm not using it with that mount anyway.

It’s a great little hoop but it’s sort of loud and it’s really fun when you have a rubber band around the end that f the net to catch the ball, the ball is also very nice because it doesn’t leave any marks on the ceiling and it’s really easy to inflate.

I in fact use this product every day and it doesn't give me any trouble besides not being able to shoot because I suck but it's really fun to play with friends and just play with and it was easy to build
