Review on πŸ”‘ Razer Pro Type: Wireless Productivity Keyboard - Razer Orange Mechanical Switches - Programmable Keys - Bluetooth and Wireless Connectivity - Durable for 80 Million Keystrokes by Brandon Guidroz

Perfect switches if you like brown or red. really well built but the battery isn't that great.

I've been using an inexpensive wired mechanical keyboard with a blue switch for a few years, but I'm fed up with the cord. I work from home and having a wired keyboard and a second keyboard for my Chromebox is annoying. This keyboard really solved almost all my problems. The switches are a bit softer than the blues but as you can see here I don't leave any typos lol. I'm editing before submitting, but my typos are still significantly less with these orange switches compared to the blue switches I used before. I type faster and kets are less flimsy. This aspect speaks for a price of $139. Deep down I thought I needed a higher quality keyboard, but I finally made my choice and I'm pretty sure I'll be using this keyboard for a long time. I know Razer makes gaming hardware and when it comes to keyboards it makes a difference. The switches are softer than the blue ones, but more resilient than the red ones. If you want to play, you'll probably need the red switches, as they require more force to operate. I mostly play with the Xbox controller, so it doesn't bother me that much. If I have one complaint, it's the battery life. I've noticed that if you leave the backlight on even in low light, the battery drains much faster than if it were completely off. For a backlit keyboard, the charging time is about 10 hours at medium brightness and 15 hours at low brightness. If you leave the lights out, the battery will hold a charge that will keep it running late into the night. I plug it in every night before bed, so I've noticed that if I don't turn on the backlight during the day, this keyboard stays charged that long at night when I get up until 2am.
