Review on Ibera Bicycle Handlebar Camera Bag With Clip-On Quick Release, Rain Cover And Map Sleeve For Equipment by Paul Newton

Very happy with this bag

I purchased this handlebar bag because it is the _only_ one I could find anywhere with a metal bracket that goes under the stem to prevent the bag from rotating forward. Some have "safety" wires that are supposed to do this same job but this has a simple metal bracket that does the job much cleaner, simpler, and stronger.I used this as my camera bag with a Nikon D7500 and DX 16-80mm f2.8-4.0 lens on a 5 day 170 mile ride that included one all day rain. The rain cover was effective on that day and no water got on my camera at all. This bag was rock solid on my handlebars and protected my camera while providing fast access. The lid opens away from the user while on the bike so it is easy to get into in a second. I also carried a battery bank for my phone, another battery for the camera, my keys, wallet, snacks, and bike repair equipment. It held it all. I don't think the large compartment of the bag would have held my camera with the 70-200mm lens attached but I didn't try it since I never needed that lens. I did notice that there was quite a bit of unused space above my camera under the lid. I didn't use that space because I didn't want anything to accidentally pop out onto the ground when I'd pull out the camera. Maybe they could have sown in a pouch on the underside of the lid that could have been used to hold more stuff without running that risk.

Pros
  • ‎Solid
Cons
  • Map sleeve's plastic material easily scratches
