Haven't had a chance to use it for fishing yet, but I've tied many knots with - fly tying, line splicing, line to line. It works out. My own eyes and hand don't work the way they used to. With this tool, I don't struggle with the leash to keep the loop on the visor open so I can put the end of the tag back through the loop that is being rotated. I knitted a lot so it became second nature to me, but mostly I just enjoyed playing around with it. Watch the video a few times and try on a few ties. It's really easy. Made in the USA. You'll also tie a knot about 3 inches from the fly so you don't get tangled in the knot. After the knot is tied, pull the knot up to the eye of the hook. I assume you use a bit more line to make these knots, but monofilament is cheap. Fishing time is wrong.
