Review on 🐶 SportPet Designs X-Large Gray Rolling Plastic Airline-Approved Wire Door Travel Dog Crate by Kim Good

I bought this cage and sent it to the breeder to use to transport my pup from Houston to Seattle on Alaska Airlines. We have made all the preparations before the flight; The box appeared to meet all the recommendations on the airline's website. I drove to Seattle to pick up my pup (300 miles one way) but Houston refused the cage. They said that the bottom should be absolutely flat. It has small 1/2 "plastic feet" that are the housings for the snap-off wheels. As of this writing my pup is still in Houston and I am planning another trip to Seattle this weekend to try and ship her. with another box. I spent an extra $400 on gas, housing, an extra vet exam (not to mention buying two crates), and extra days off, all because Alaska wouldn't accept that crate. I can't return this one as we have already stickered it and thrown away the packaging WARNING: Nowhere on the Alaska website does it say the box must have a completely flat bottom and no small plastic wheel wells. I gave this cage 4 stars just because the breeder said it was a well made cage, I hadn't actually seen the thing and probably won't now as I won't be spending any more money to ship an empty crate . box to me.
