Review on Dorman 521 872 Suspension Control Select by Mike Martz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you've been told that your Civic's rear wheel alignment cannot be repaired, don't believe it! Get this product!

This appears to have solved the alignment problem on my 2007 4-door Civic sedan for a total price of around $400, while at a Honda dealership it would cost at least twice as much. This is the offset that cost me hundreds of dollars in tire wear when the people who sold me the tires told me the Civic had the offset but the car had no adjustment and it wouldn't hurt. BIG SURPRISE On the next visit to this workshop I was told that my rear tires failed the test due to wear on their inner edges. That was 20,000 miles over the life of a set of 60,000 mile warranty tires that cost me $732. $124 later, my rear tires were replaced with cheaper tires warranted under 60,000 miles, with price adjustments on more expensive tires to match their warranty. I "look forward" to returning to the same location in May 2015 when informed that my FRONT TIRES fail inspection due to the uneven wear they experienced during the Civic's alignment phase. I'll tell you they misinformed me when they said the shift was "normal" wouldn't hurt whatever it was exactly they said [note: I'm NOT trying to identify who my opinion is to blame! ]

Pros

Cons
