They could have designed them to have a little more room for the standard switches. Another 1/16" would have made the installation a lot easier. As it turned out, I was able to mount the switches, but they were very tight. The two switches actually rub against each other a bit, but still work fine. If you cut yours lines off, you'll need a bit more to put them in and I would suggest making a little more outside cuts to separate the switches a bit. This really makes for a comfortable place for the switches and if you designed them with I would give a little more space 5 stars.
