I bought these egg molds to make pancakes for my kids. I have 8 years, 3 years, 1 year. To everyone who loves pancakes and curly food! My middle child who is 3 years old is now very passionate about learning about his shapes so I thought this would be a fun way for him to learn about shapes too! There are 5 shapes: Mickey Mouse, Star, Heart, Flower and Circle. They all have a handle that folds up and down for storage and cooking. They are easy to clean, there is a small gap where the metal touches, but if soaked and washed immediately, any food in the crack will be easily washed out. I also used a bottle brush to make sure it worked and it worked. I've baked both pancakes and eggs in these pans and neither was great (partially my fault for both). I forgot to spray the first batch of pancakes with oil and it was a bit sticky, I also overflowed them so it spilled a bit. The second batch I didn't cook long enough on the first side that they didn't hold their shape! But I finally got the hang of it and it seemed to be working fine. Here are some application tips: Use a flat pan. Spray the pan well with oil spray. Let the pan heat up so the sides cook and hold their shape. I received this product at a reduced price for my honest opinion.
