It's SUPER! I only bought them for drilling and drilling which broke off trying to pull out the broken Zerk filling. NOTHING will pop out. EZ-Outs are extremely hardened steel and are almost impossible to remove - it's more like having to slowly knock them off. Well, that's exactly what they did. I read somewhere on the web that PCB bits are made of carbide and can be drilled in and out with patience. After trying everything else I was able to buy from the local hardware store - like Carbide Masonry Bits, Diamond Bits for Dremel, Titanium etc (again nothing worked) - ES DID. The rest of the stuff didn't even leave a scratch on this ez-out. It took a while and I took the advice of other reviews that they are brittle and will break. So I installed my Dremel tool into the Dremel router assembly and slowly cut. I blunted one and then went to the next larger size and finally got over it - it took me probably an hour to go 1/2" and break through. If only I had started here. I hope I never have to do it again do but trust me I will remember what it did.
