Wrong sizes Best in Router Bits

Hard to complain about the price but all the bits were small. The largest drill, which should have been 1/2 inch, was closer to 3/8 inch. And from there they all got smaller. The bits do not come as a set in a case, just in individual unmarked sockets, so I think it was just a packaging error. Other reviews have said similar things. I bought a set for a 1/2" bit which I didn't receive but used a 3/8" bit instead. OK. Not good. But good value for money.

    Poor starter at higher RPM

Bought these to cut some sheets of plywood for my theater seats. The 3/8 inch bit started a rough cut after 6 linear feet and a bad walnut base on the third tray. In all, it cut 8 linear feet at 25,000 rpm in three separate sessions before becoming a fire hazard. at slower speeds, but at 16,000 rpm there was a rough cut that required a lot of grinding. See photo for 5/8" dowel insert sizing.

Radii too small, shafts too large (probably metric)

Smaller than stated. I've seen numerous reviews that the Beats aren't as big as advertised. It's not that important for my purposes (at least for now), but I agree that they aren't as big as they should be. had trouble inserting (at least one) rod into my router. I suspect these are metric bits that have been confused with American ones. However, the quick test I carried out went well. Nice smooth radii!

    Good for what I needed

My wife and I were renovating and we had quite a bit of milling to do so I bought these for my DeWalt router. To be honest if I was interested in making cabinets I would buy something much more expensive. However, for the small amount we needed to make, they worked fantastic. I had no problems with burrs or burning. Everything I've used them for has looked great. So while I would describe them as more of a "disposable accessory" they did a good job for the small amount I needed them for.

Works fine on my 1 1/4 hp router.

So far I've used them on 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood and 1/2" HDPE plastic. This left a smooth finish on both. HDPE performed best at around 10,000 rpm. There was no recoil or vibration (other than the bearing in my router starting to fail). The bearings had no snags and rotated smoothly in patterns. I didn't rate durability as I haven't had it long. I've run less than 20 feet of material through them while working with small pieces. I recommend.

Not recommended! - Bits for edging and grooving

Arrived on time. It's supposed to be four different bit sizes, but I have three different bits and one is the same size as the other, so I'm deducting a star. The bits are sharp, which is good. However, one of them is not visually centered, making it practically useless. Another non-standard, which in turn makes it useless. You are taking a risk by purchasing this set of items. It will be enough for my needs. When I need something better, I spend a lot more for a better product. I do not…

largest nozzle missing - set includes smallest nozzle

I just noticed 4 months late that my nozzle set didn't have the largest nozzle but a random nozzle with the same convex profile in between two smaller ones sizes. I never would have thought of measuring them upon arrival. Random error? Will never know but will have to lower my stars for it as the biggest part is the most valuable. However, the part I used worked exactly as requested. I love the fact that this beat does bullnose after bullnose. If you want the bottom piece of wood to have a…

    Decent beats for the price.

These cutters each came in their own plastic case. They are good for their price. Remember, these aren't $50 beats. You get what you pay for. I needed a few 1/4 round bits for my wireless router just to route in areas where my large PC router was difficult to deploy and looping was too time consuming. These beats do their job. The bearings were tight but not too tight with no play. My only gripe is that the shim behind the bearings is too big and slightly cut into the tree in places. A bit of…

    Great Value

They are great value for money and a good choice if you need them for multiple projects. I don't think they will work with harder woods but they work great with softer woods. For beginners, they're inexpensive so you can figure out which bite you might be better off using. If you need to use them frequently I would suggest buying something better. Pros: does its job. Ideal for large carpenters or odd jobs. for the price i would buy again.

Each of these bits is packed in a separate plastic case. They are good for their price. Remember, these aren't $50 beats. You get what you pay for.
