Straight, spiral and trimming bits aren't that good

I used 1 of these for 36 cuts in 1/8" masonite. When I was done it took twice as long long. as long as you start to get through.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Hold the edge. Easy to sharpen.

All likes. Hold the edge longer than expected. I am building my dream house. All sidings are overlapped. So I'm really putting Beats to the test. Good value for money.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Socket required

good set of router bits

I have used these to make box type joints with a router and they stayed sharp through repeated use. Worked well with the notches in the walnut, I would buy again! Very happy with the purchase, excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Negative gift

Wood routers with straight, spiral and trimmer bits

Bits are good value for money and work as intended. They cut well and fit your work perfectly without snagging or chipping the wood. Bearings run smoothly, without play. Good decent beats. does the job. Would buy again if needed.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Has problems

Avoid using bits with small bearings.

The price was great but the small ball bearings splintered when cutting. I had to buy a new 2ft x 4ft x 1/2in red oak top, the large bearings work but the smaller bearing is falling apart making this set unreliable for me.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No performance

Good price for Schneider

Those were good tips, especially for the price. I didn't have to use all of them, but the two I did performed well. Actually works better than some of my bits that cost more. Choose soft wood and it will serve you well.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

The torn off finger tries to be taken out of the packaging

Sharp? Yes. Secure packaging? Something like that. I went to the emergency room last night after cutting my finger trying to get something out of a package. The bits are tightened and clamped in the body. I recommend pushing them out from the bottom the first time and not forcing them back in. If you never intend to take them out, then 100% secure packaging!

Pros
  • Satisfied
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Did the job and did it well.

I was building a chipboard router table and needed to cut some blind slots. I ordered this set but only used the shortest one. It seemed to cut effortlessly into the wood and cut very well. I can't say anything about the durability, but for the price I've already justified my money.

Pros
  • KOWOOD Plus Series cutters are made of upgraded KOWOOD C3 carbide. The bits in this series are heat treated for maximum durability.
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Torn finger trying to get out of box

Sharp? Yes Safe packaging? Something like that very tight and clamped in the case, I recommend pushing it out from the bottom the first time and not putting it back in.

Pros
  • 1/4" universal tool holder fits all popular bench top routers including KOWOOD, Bosch, DeWalt, Tooldo, Makita, Milwaukee, MNA, Porter & Cable, Skil, Ryobi, Black & Decker (Suitable for hand router, benchtop router or CNC machine)
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Bits were good but...

I needed something to add to my new collection of router bits to cut pieces of wood evenly. They work great and are great value for money. My problem is the packaging they came in. They were almost glued into the holes and I cut myself trying to get them out. The holes are so narrow that every time I have to use them I have the same problem. I think I should be grateful that it gave me the motivation to design and build my router bit storage station just so I didn't have to use the box they…

Pros
  • KOWOOD Plus Flush Router Kit is a router upgrade kit for cutting veneered surfaces flush with the base or creating multiple identical parts using a template.
Cons
  • Slightly dented
