My spouse recently went out and purchased a digital video recorder (DVR). We share the same car, and while he was evaluating it based on its features, I was more concerned with how it looked and how convenient it was. What I liked about it is that because it is shaped like a rear-view mirror, it does not get in the way of the glass. The vantage point is stunning; not only can you see the street in front of you, but you can also see the curb behind you, which is useful while parking. And as a wonderful added bonus, there is GPS built in, which can see the cameras.
