Can't put it into words. I loved these boots and how much my child loved them. He's 2 years old and he likes being able to put them on himself at the expense of "grips". They fit great and look great. The ONLY downside is the material inside the boot. Although spongy and comfortable (feels like a wetsuit-like material used by surfers) when water gets in (as expected by younger kids who like to splash in puddles), the material inside soaks up water and it lasts for days. We had a rainy week but found my kid can't use them because they don't dry fast enough. So I used a hair dryer to speed it up but still felt "wet".
