I put this cooler at random, taking the only AM3+ in stock in one store. Noise enters the brain. In general, it is tolerable in terms of level (although the fan noise level still dominates the system unit), but the emphasis on high frequencies in the noise kills all the pleasure and the desire to recommend it to anyone. Complicated installation: 1. My case simply did not close, a few millimeters were not enough. If there were stampings on the side panels, they would fit, probably. So it's not suitable for everyone. 2. You need to remove the fans before mounting the heatsink on the processor, which is somehow not obvious, but this step is not in the instructions. Otherwise, you will, like me, spend an hour trying to screw only two bolts. 3. Covers all memory modules with a side fan. The memory must be installed in advance, you cannot change the memory without removing it. Either just the fan, or the entire cooler, and the memory should only be without heatsinks or with low heatsinks. High radiators will not fit. My Fury from Kingston got in. The fans are clamped to the radiator, so in general you can play around with moving the fan to the other side so as not to interfere with the memory, or even try to throw out the second valve and leave the middle one in the hope of reaching a more acceptable noise level without overheating, which did not crash to the ears. Probably, you can find more silent fans and then it will be a pretty cool thing.
