Cap doesn’t fit too big

As others have stated the cap Is too big to lose It will end up stripping the threads on your generator.I tried it on an older Honda 1000 generator and a new Honda 2200.The gasket is too small in diameter and it’s only 1/16 inch thick it wouldn’t seal right even if the cat fit right. It’s too bad because their cap is Made well
