I needed a large rain cover for my backpack and it definitely helped! When I put it on, the nylon fabric cover covers my entire pack and the drawstring closure ensures that no matter what shape my pack takes, it stays wrapped up and cozy! When I don't need it, it rolls up and stores very easily and takes up very little space. And of course he keeps everything in perfect condition! Update: It has survived a 30 day hike (2013) and a 70 day hike (2016) since my purchase and works like a charm with no signs of wear.
