Installation was easy. Be sure to remove the protective film from the silicone pads, then lay out the stack to match your physical location. While holding the stack together, tighten the screws. This is necessary to obtain sufficient heat transfer. The temperature rise is very strong. Previously, it fluctuated from ambient to 50+ DEGC with no issues. SMART shows my previous peak was 59 DEGC. I've been tracking it for about a day and haven't seen it break 31 DEGC even when running Crystal Diskmark. I will do more tests in the next few days. FYI, my SSD is PCIe 3x4. PCIe 4x4 may require more heatsinks/heatpipes or fans to achieve similar results. It was a discount solution. I highly recommend, especially considering the price. Why M.2 SSDs don't come standard with some sort of heatsink I'll never understand.
