I bet some are reluctant to buy this memory after comparing the 6x higher OEM price (Dell gave me $1300 for adding 32GB to my T130 -Server charged). So I decided that with THIS difference, at least it's worth trying. It works fine on a separate channel (2x OEM Dell 16GB on the first channel and 2x Timetec 16GB on the second channel). It also survived a 3-hour heavy-duty test and showed performance comparable to OEM memory. guidance and common sense. :-) Will I use it for important business transactions? No, only for compliance reasons. But for development or an internal server, this is a pretty good and cheap solution. Let's see if it fails over time, if so I'll update my review here. So you can use the review date to follow my progress :-).
